Julienne Gracieuse Dorvil Delpeche known as Manman Grace was born on April 7, 1923 in a small village Leogane, Haiti to parentage of late Father of Octavius Dorvil and late mother Aleanne Tivera Dorvil. Manman Grace married her late husband Jean Andre Delpeche on November 22, 1943 and had 11 children Yves Delpeche, Serge Delpeche, Cadone Edith Delpeche, late Gerda Delpeche Gachelin, Turgot Delpeche, Monique Delpeche Breton, late Gary Delpeche, Jean Claude Delpeche, Jean Robert Delpeche, Emmanuel Delpeche and late Florence Marie Delpeche Louis. Manman Grace spent all her life taking care of her children and family.
Manman Grace left Haiti to come to the US on December 15, 1968. She started working in a Nursing Home. Few years later she left the Nursing Home to take another position at Holiday Inn Hotel where she was able to bring her cooking skills. Manman Grace also worked at Summit Hotel for a few years. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her children, family and friends. Manman Grace gen yon bol manje pou chaque moun ki pase lakay li. Manman Grace loved to share. When we gave Manman Grace money as a gift she shared it with her grandchildren.

After her husband passed away, she made it her goal to keep her family together. She made sure that she reached out to everyone in her own manner.
Manman Grace was a very pleasant, kind, loving and strong women. She was a devoted member to the Catholic Church and would not miss a Sunday Mass. She taught us how to be strong in life. In her late age, she always wanted us to celebrate her birthday thinking she was going to die. She always quoted: “vini yan bel ale a led, pito
nou led nou la, ala de kaka poul papa."
Julienne Gracieuse Dorvil Delpeche was called home to the Lord July 22, 2020.  As a mother of 11 children, 33 grandchildren,52 great grand children and 4 great great grandchildren.
Thank you Manman Grace for all you have done for us. Now the time has come for you to rest. Go in peace, you will be always in our hearts.
